TRAFFIC CONTROL LIVE PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
Once all your training has been completed, you will need to attend a live practical final assessment. Your assessment will be conducted in a simulated workplace using full scale devices in a controlled and safe environment.
Your Statement of Completion (SOC) you have received after completing the classroom training is valid for only 90 days. You must complete your live practical assessment during this time in order to receive your SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training (TCWT) card.
- Original ID documents that add up to at least 100 points in line with SafeWork NSW ID points table – click here to view ID points table. Within these documents, you must be able to show your photo ID, date of birth, signature, and current residential address.
- Hi visibility shirt, jacket or vest
- Long pants
- Safety steel cap shoes
- Safety gloves (implementer students only)
- White card/certificate
- Your SafeWork NSW SOC certificates
If you do not complete the assessment, you will not receive your SafeWork NSW TCWT card.
Your TCWT cards may take up to four weeks to arrive in the post from SafeWork NSW. Please consider that your Statement of Completion may expire before the card is received.
Please check the date of Statement of Completion (SOC), if you have received your certificate over 90 days ago, please do not book in your practical assessment and give our office a call to discuss your options.
You will be turned away if you do not bring all the the required items with you or if you are late. Full rebooking fees apply.
